Let's Face It, Real Mardid Are No Bolton...

Arsenal played some of the sweetest football I've seen in a long time yesterday.

It's just like watching Brazil!

...scratch that...

It was just like watching Arsenal of two years ago!

I'm still quite shocked at just how well Ljungberg played after the awful season he's had.

Why hasn't he played even half as well as that all season??

Flamini did really well as a covering left back, and I don't think Lauren is going to be missed one bit if Eboue keeps playing as well as he is now.

Thierry rammed a left foot shot in the mouths of certain people who spout rubbish about him not being a big game player.

Fabregas seemed to be just loving it in the middle of the pitch, and All Cicinho could do to stop Reyes was keep fouling him every time he got the ball.

This was a brilliant result that showed a whole load of things.

It showed that nobody at Real decided to bother watching any of Arsenals recent defeats.

Why?

Because they tried to play football, and hardly any team in the Premiership does that any more.

It also showed that Arsene's plan, although seemingly falling apart in the Premiership, is actually working.

Real don't HOOF the ball like your Chelsea's, Liverpools and your Bolton's do, so this was an excellent opportunity to see just how well Arsenal can play proper football against supposedly one of the best footballing sides ever.

Of Course... the best team won in the end.

The game also showed that the likes of Gilberto and Freddie are too comfortable in their first team positions, or surely they would put in as much focus and effort as they did in this game, every week.

Anyway, elsewhere in the Champions League I've just seen something which I always enjoy watching.

Chelsea getting beaten!

That Jose Mourinho is such a sore LOOSER.

And Pat's dream of lifting the trophy seems to have taken a setback, with Juve finishing 3-2 down against Werder Bremen after being 2-1 up.

But who cares...

One-Nil to the Arsenal!!

Cheer Up Arsenal, The Grouch Is Back!!

No need to sulk anymore boys.

I'm back to tell it like it is!

I moved house a couple of weeks ago and only just got my internet connection switched over yesterday.

So what did we miss?

It's all a bit of a blur.

Losing to West Ham, beating birmingham, drawing against Bolton and losing to liverpool.

So now the general mood amongst fans is one of depression.

The players look a bit depressed too.

So does Arsene.

Well it's your own fault Arsene. Almost everyone who knows anything about football could see what the team needed in terms of new players, both at the beginning of the season and in the transfer window, but you insisted and insisted that the side was getting better every week.

while the likes of Pires and Ljungberg have gotten worse every week.

I'd like to see the stats for the Liverpool game. I was watching Freddie very closely, and I only remember him completing ONE SUCCESSFUL PASS IN THE WHOLE MATCH.

I don't think he managed to beat his man one one single occasion either.

And who's next?

Real Madrid!

Won't that be nice!

But I don't have time to go into the problem after problem that the team has right now.

There will probably be more than enough time to do that over the coming weeks.
